LOCATION

Located in Kamaran Island, very close to Salif port, 20-min boat ride, Kamaran Tourist Village is the first island camp of it's kind in the Red Sea. Great care was taken to use natural materials and follow the traditional building theme of the Tihama region to preserve the natural beauty of the unspoiled environment.

Hut

CHALETS: All Chalets (huts) are of a Tihami theme; they are built in a very simple way using wooden bungalow and straw, which is suitable for the hot coastal climate. Each hut is simply equipped with Tihami or normal beds, two chairs and a table, small basket for personal belongings & litterbin. Whereas shared toilets & shower rooms are located in the middle of the resort.

RESTAURANT & MEALS: Local and international menus prepared by Yemeni & German cooks including a variety of fresh seafood, meat, vegetables, salads, desserts & tropical fruits. Fizzy drinks, fresh tropical cocktails, & mineral water.

ACTIVITIES
  • Daily diving trips by speedboats.
  • Daily fishing trips.
  • Boat trips around the island & to nearby islands.
  • Land trips to explore the island including donkey treks.

DIVING CENTER: Daily boat trips to the diving sites (2 dives a day, 45-60 minutes each) in the Red Sea supervised by a dive-master. A diving club equipped with neoteric & modern facilities, PADI certified Yemeni instructors and complete scuba gear for 10 thrill seekers. Diving courses for beginners all supervised by an international diving instructor & qualified diving club staff.

NOTE: Snorkel equipment available upon request.

Fishing trips: Daily fishing trips can be arranged with our boats, accompanied by local boatmen

Boat trips:

  • Daily boat trips to discover mangrove areas and bird life in the island.
  • Boat trips to discover the surrounding islands.

Land trips:

  • Land trips by vehicles to explore the inland of Kamaran including historical sites.
  • Donkey treks: (half day or full day)
